We have some exciting primary elections happening in Buncombe this year, and we're already hard at work organizing candidate forums.
Dem Women of Buncombe will host a forum for the two District Judge races on Thursday, January 25 at 6 p.m. at Buncombe Dems HQ. Candidates Emily Sutton Dezio, Robin Leigh Merrell, Todd Lentz, and Meredith Pressley Stone will respond to questions submitted by local Democrats. Our new chapter of the NCDP Jewish Caucus has organized a forum to help voters make an informed decision when voting for the Buncombe County Clerk of Superior Court on Saturday, January 27 at 10 a.m. at Buncombe Dems HQ. Candidates Jean Marie Christy and Johanna Finkelstein will share their experiences and respond to questions submitted by local Democrats.
