From NC District 11 Dems:

Join your fellow WNC Democrats for the NC 11 Democrats Annual Convention. We will be welcomed by Sylva Mayor Johnny Phillips, and our NC 11 Congressional Candidate, Jamie Ager, will be the keynote speaker.

There are no district officer elections this year. But it is important to attend, to stay involved and informed. Between our gerrymander-happy State Legislature, the Republican push for the SAVE act, and the daily chaos of the Trump Administration, this mid-term election is once again the most important election of our lifetime.

Moreover, we will be electing four NC 11 Democrats to serve on these statewide committees: Council of Review, Credentials and Appeals (for the State Convention), Resolutions and Platform, and Plan of Organization Review.

Check-in will be at 10:00, and the convention will commence at 11:00.

Kindly register early, as an accurate count will help ensure that no one goes without lunch.
