Downtown AVL Community Meeting (Precinct 11.1)

  • RAD Brewing Co. 13 Mystery Street Asheville, NC, 28801 United States (map)

Many of us are frustrated or deeply concerned about what’s happening in our government right now — the erosion of trust, the lack of accountability, and the growing sense that our voices aren’t being heard. If that resonates with you, you’re not alone.

Meet your neighbors. Share ideas. Get involved. Connect with others who care about change. Learn about ways to take action that match your skills, schedule, and interests.

We know it’s easier to stay home, doomscroll, or tune out altogether, so...

Why show up? Change happens when you’re willing to go outside your comfort zone, meet your neighbors, and discern how you want to get involved.

At this community meeting: You'll learn how to make your voice heard regarding local issues, NC state races and how to get out the vote.

Come meet your neighbors and explore how we can make a difference together!

(Note: We meet in the basement of the brewery.)

Who should attend: Residents of Downtown Asheville are welcome, especially if you live in South Slope, Wecan, and South French Broad neighborhoods. This event is being organized by Precinct 11.1 leadership.
