The 65th Annual Democratic Women of North Carolina State Convention, September 19–21, 2025, is being held in Asheville, NC.

This year’s theme—For the Will of the People—was inspired by NC Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs. During her six-month legal battle to certify her seat, Justice Riggs cited “the will of the people” as her guiding inspiration. She fought with grit, poise, and unwavering commitment, and on May 13th, she was sworn in to continue her service on our state’s highest court.

The Convention Committee is planning an inspiring, energizing, and empowering three-day gathering—an opportunity to stand shoulder-to shoulder with Democratic Women from across the state. Speakers include Lt. Governor Rachel Hunt, Secretary of State Elaine Marshall, NC Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls, NC Senator Sydney Batch, and NC Representative Vernetta Alston, with more to be announced.
