Each month we discuss a book the group has agreed upon at the previous meeting. In September, we will discuss Abundance by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson (304 pp. ISBN 9771668023488). Bookshop.org writes that the book offers "a once-in-a-generation, paradigm-shifting call to renew a politics of plenty, face up to the failures of liberal governance, and abandon the chosen scarcities that have deformed American life."

Who should attend: Anyone who wants to read and discuss books of interest with fellow left-leaning readers. Even if you haven't read the book, come anyway for a lively wide-ranging discussion. We meet the 3rd Friday of each month.
