Turn your Anger into ACTION
So much is happening so fast - many of us feel upset and angry! Well, we are not helpless. Far from it. We can turn our anger into actions that will help overcome GOP overreach and build a stronger community right here in Buncombe County.
Join us on Sunday, February 16th from 1-4pm at BCDP Headquarters (951 Old Fairview Road) for our Blue Hearts for Democracy: Turn Anger into ACTION resource fair.
While Valentine's Day will have just passed, you can still show your love. We're expecting special guests, energizing speakers, and several agencies and organizations that have info on things you can do right now and into the future. Light snacks will be provided. Come join us and show that Democrats care about our neighbors, our state, our country and our democracy!

"Take Action" Item of the Week
Weekly ways to stand up for our communities and our democracy.
After multiple recounts and election audits in 2024, North Carolina voters elected Justice Allison Riggs to the NC Supreme Court. In a bid to overturn that result, her opponent, Jefferson Griffin, is pressing the courts to disenfranchise over 60,000 lawful North Carolina voters.
It's the people's turn to say: reject Griffin's challenges — and respect our votes!
Join the growing opposition against Griffin's challenges, raise your voice at rallies happening across the state, and let's build a pro-democracy movement. For more details about the rally on February 17th at noon, see: https://www.mobilize.us/commoncause/event/752832/
