March is Women's History Month
Women’s History Month is a time to honor the extraordinary contributions of women throughout history.
From trailblazers who fought for equality to innovators shaping the future, women have played an integral role in every facet of society.
Notable figures like Vice President Kamala Harris, courageous advocate Malala Yousafzai, and the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg are just a few of the many women leaders who have changed our world. Their stories remind us of the importance of recognizing and elevating women’s voices, not just in March, but every day.
Let’s continue to break down barriers, push for progress, and support women everywhere.
Be Part of the Solution: March 22nd Local Democratic Precinct Meetings
If you're looking for ways to make a real difference in these unprecedented times, a great step is to be part of your local Democratic Precinct -- the most grassroots, local organizational unit of the county party.
Every year, our precincts gather, grouped by geographic cluster, to make plans for the year ahead, to hear from cluster leaders, elected officials and other guest speakers, and to organize for success!
For more information, visit Annual Organizing — Buncombe Dems.
To find your precinct, you can look up your voting information at NC Board of Election's Voter Search. Once you know your precinct, look for its cluster on this page and then sign up to attend at Buncombe Dems March 22nd Meetings.
PLUS, New Shirts and Fleece to Show Off your Cluster!
See our new t-shirts and hoodies that will let people know that you are a proud local Dem! We've got one for every Cluster in Buncombe, and several other new designs.
Order now to get them in time for your Precinct meeting on March 22nd! Visit our online shop at Buncombe Dems Official Merchandise.

Finding enough healthy food is challenging for too many of our neighbors, especially with funding being cut off just as it's needed most. So Buncombe Dems are stepping up to help. We're hosting a food drive in March for Manna.
Items on the "needed list" below can be brought to BCDP Headquarters at 951 Old Fairview Road (we have a drop-off box outside the building when we're closed, plus one inside during open hours).
Needed:
- Canned Fruits & Vegetables
- Chicken & Tuna pouches or cans
- Dried Rice and Beans
Thank you for helping your neighbors!
