This week let’s show our support for our NC Democratic Legislators who have been working to kill NC House Bill 958 - a GOP effort for sweeping changes to voting in the state.

Voting rights groups said that the legislation, introduced by NC Republicans, is the latest salvo in an effort to decrease trust in the voting system.

"It moves North Carolina away from a voter-centered election system and toward one that treats voters with suspicion rather than trust," Jennifer Rubin, the North Carolina president of the League of Women Voters, said at a press conference held by House Democrats.

Let’s make our voices heard that we support free and fair elections and will not tolerate Republican assaults on our right to vote!
