This November, North Carolina voters will get the chance to change the state constitution by filling in bubbles on their ballots. The Republican-controlled General Assembly has so far placed three proposed constitutional amendments on the ballot — amendments that could change the state’s tax laws and election laws, while potentially motivating conservative North Carolinians to vote in what’s expected to be a tough election year for Republican candidates. More amendments could be approved before the session ends.
Join Representative Lindsey Prather going into detail about the amendments on the ballot in November.
