Come join Downtown Democrats for our panel discussion about Affordable Housing in Buncombe County. Speakers from Habitat for Humanity, Asheville Poverty Initiative and City of Asheville Affordable Housing will address critical issues, such as: how we define Affordable Housing with "real" numbers, what is happening now in the county to address the persistent and growing concerns, and how we can advocate for initiatives to make housing more affordable for people in Asheville and the county.

Our goal is to educate ourselves about the real struggles folks face with housing needs, learn what is being done to address these needs, and what we can DO to make a difference!
