From the Progressive Dems of Buncombe County:

You are invited to join us in a planning session in working with community members to push local elected officials to pass a resolution enlisting the city to stand for the thousands of families navigating the fallout of sudden federal cutbacks, policy overreach and a looming healthcare crisis (BBB).

Our ask for Asheville and our Elected Officials is 3-Fold:
- Public hearing on how the BBB will impact Asheville and surrounding areas, with an emphasis on hearing from community members and businesses on how they have been negatively affected
- Issue a report on the blow back from the BBB for Asheville and surrounding communities
- Become a 4th amendment city and protect immigrant's rights
