Jake Quinn, Chair of the Buncombe County Board of Elections, will be our special guest speaker. The GOP-dominated legislature shifted control over the North Carolina Board of Elections from the Governor -- where it had been for more than 125 years -- to the Auditor who promptly created a new Republican BoE majority. Jake will be updating us about changes happening now and coming soon both statewide and locally. 

With voter registration in the crosshairs and many more changes likely, Jake will help us understand what we are facing and how we can help protect voting rights and the integrity of our elections.
