Come join the Downtown Asheville Democrats as we gather our precincts for our Annual Meeting. This will be our opportunity to organize our precincts where we can vote for new officers to fill vacancies, plan initiatives to activate our volunteers for the upcoming elections in 2026, elect delegates to the County Democratic Convention, and donate to meet our precincts’ annual dues.

Following our opening program, we welcome Charles Martin, representing the At-Large District for the Buncombe Board of Education, and Jean Marie Christy, Buncombe County Clerk of Court, as our guest speakers.

All Democrats in precincts 1.1, 2.1, 8.2, 8.3, 10.1 and 11.1 are invited and encouraged to attend and participate, whether it’s your first time or have attended past annual organizing meetings, as we connect with our neighbors to work together towards a more fair and just future for all in our communities!
