DEMOCRATIC MEN'S BREAKFAST

VeteransTreatmentCourt-JudgePope.pngAt the Democratic Men's breakfast on March 19, 2016, District Attorney Todd Williams and Sheriff Van Duncan told us about the new Veterans Treatment Court. Veterans who have suffered mental trauma, compounded with drug abuse often end up in the court system, then jail. This program is to seek help for those who served their country and now are in a difficult place in their life. It is to seek help rather than punish.
